Okay, so I am so ridiculously excited to introduce a really close friend of mine today! We were childhood friends by default {our parents are BFFs} but lifelong friends by choice.

| Don't we look fly?! I swear this look was instyle in the early 90's! |
She has been a huge supporter of any crazy venture I tried: Arbonne, Pampered Chef...you name it, she supported it! That's why I am so excited to return the favor and spread the word to you all about her new adventure in blogging!
Without further "a-do", I introduce you to my friend Nichole of Yeung Mother Hubbard Designs...get it girl!
You see I am "new"to blogging... well I guess my blog has been around for over a year, I just never know what to write so I don't. I am going to try to change that... so here is my first guest blog.
Let me properly introduce myself... my name is Nichole... yes, with an H and I blog (well try) at Yeung Mother Hubbard Designs.
I am a wife...
and a "mother" to two fuzzy children...
I work full time at my parents auto body shop and by the time I get home I never seem to have enough time or energy to sew, craft, or blog. (I honestly don't know how all you mamas do it!)
BUT last weekend I decided that I was going to make time to do a craft. I have been eyeballing those super perfect fake pumpkins for a couple years now. So while I just happened to be picking up dog food I wandered over to Michael's next door and picked up a couple.
Here is what I used:
- craft pumpkin(s)
- black puffy paint
- kids washable orange marker
- a damp paper towel
Use your washable marker to draw your design on your pumpkin. I did a test mark on the bottom to make sure that it would wash off. You can use your damp paper towel to erase any mistakes.
Start at the top of the pumpkin and start applying little dots of puffy paint on your marked design. (I started at the top left and worked my way to the right since I am right handed.) TIP: the puffy paint spreads a little bit, so don't put your dots too close together or they will run together.
Let the paint dry and then wipe your washable marker template off of the pumpkin.
Ta-da! You are done!
Thank you for being a part of my first guest blog and tutorial!
Isn't she fab?! I would have never thought to use crayola markers on these punpkins: GENIUS!
and tell her MBMM sent you!
